The NWPhillyBlocks email network brings together neighborhood builders in Northwest Philadelphia--people active in community groups, block captains, school volunteers, youth workers, town watch members, active committeee people-- to share information and ideas on how to improve the quality of life throughout Northwest Philadelphia.

NWPhillyBlocks covers all sections of Northwest Philadelphia--Roxborough-Manyunk, East Falls, Germantown, West Oak Lane, Mt. Airy, and Chestnut Hill.

The list is moderated by Ed Schwartz of the Institute for the Study of Civic Values.  All posts are screened to insure that they are relevant to the purpose of the list and to manage the volume of mail on any given day.
