Philadelphia School District has made youth safety in and out of school a major priority. Through its Office of School Climate and Safety, it is building partnerships
between schools, City agencies, and communities to reduce violence against young people in and around our schools.

EPIC (Equal Partners in Change) Stakeholder Groups- Sponsored by the
Department of Human Services, Stakeholder groups involve community organizations, City Departments, and schools in developing strategies and programs to reduce truancy and improve conditions facing young people. If you want to work directly on programs that promote youth civic responsibility in your neighborhood, get involved in a Stakeholder Group.
Public Citizens for Children and Youth (PCCY)-Philadelphia's leading
advocacy organization devoted to improving the lives and life chances of our region's children through thoughtful and informed advocacy.
PCCY has played a leading role in campaigns for school funding, after-school programs, child care, and sustained state and federal support for young people.
